Flower Power!

Just a quick update about Twig & Vine, my little special events florist business. Things are going well! I already have 2 weddings booked for late spring and am busy working on holiday bouquet orders now. I just delivered 14 arrangements to Poppyseed's. It is the coolest little vintage shop EVER! All of the bouquets are available for sale during their Holiday Open House this weekend. I've got my fingers crossed that they'll actually sell and am also hoping they'd be willing to continue displaying and selling this month. We'll see how it goes!

Smart Little Cookie!

Eli has been amazing me with the things he can do lately! He's been very interested in his name and the letters in his name. So of course he asks me to write it all the time. Yesterday he was playing away with his blocks and exclaimed, "Look Mom! I made my E!" Not only had he made his E, he had written his entire name (except for the dot on the i, which I helped with.) Of course I think he is one smart little cookie!

Last week, I made some crescent rolls and Eli wanted to make his own. With a little help rolling out the dough and cutting, this is what he came up with! He knew just how to roll them to make them look like the big ones.
